Although I have tried to keep the tone consistent and light across the pages of this website, when it comes to something as important as the Terms of Use for the site, there is no escaping the legalese.

The following information forms a legal agreement which must be adhered to by anyone wishing to use this site. I have tried to keep this as concise as possible while being thorough, but a summary can be found at the end for clarity's sake.

The website Tales With Tott is owned and run by Jemma Hill. The Terms of Use set out on this page dictate the conditions by which users may access the site and works of fiction it contains. By accessing this site and creating a membership account, you agree that you have read, understood, and agree with these Terms, and will abide by them.

Creation of a membership account for the Tales With Tott website requires a pre-existing subscription to Jemma Hill's Patreon account, which can be viewed here. As such, prospective members must abide by both Patreon's Terms of Use and the additional Terms set out in this agreement, and confirm that they meet all pre-existing requirements to do business with Patreon as laid out in their Terms of Service here.

The content of this website and all materials therein or transferred thereby, including, without limitation, software, images, text, graphics, logos, patents, trademarks, service marks, copyrights, photographs, audio, videos, music and all Intellectual Property Rights related thereto, are the exclusive property of Jemma Hill. Except as explicitly provided herein, nothing in these Terms shall be deemed to create a license in or under any such Intellectual Property Rights, and you agree not to sell, license, rent, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, adapt, edit or create derivative works thereof. Where audio files are presented for download this is for personal use only, and no permission is granted for the alteration or distribution of these files in any form either now or in perpetuity, irrespective of any future change in your membership of this site.

Membership of the Tales With Tott website will automatically be counted void upon the suspension or cancellation of a subscription to my associated Patreon account. You may also request to surrender and cancel your membership irrespective of continuing subscriptions on Patreon at any time, by contacting me directly. I reserve the right to permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend access to the service without notice and liability for any reason, including if in my sole determination you violate any provision of these Terms or any applicable law or regulations.

I also reserve the right to modify these terms from time to time at my sole discretion.

Should I change the Terms in any material manner, I will make an announcement advertising this fact via a post on my Patreon account. Your continued use of the Tales With Tott website after any such change constitutes your acceptance of new or altered Terms. As such, it is recommended that visitors/members review this page from time to time so as to be familiar with any alterations. If you do not agree to any of these terms or any future version of the Terms, do not use or access (or continue to access) the website or maintain membership.

These terms also serve as notice that I may, without prior notice, wholly change this website; stop providing membership or any features of the membership of Tales With Tott; or create limits for membership which do not currently apply. I reserve the right to permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend membership without notice and liability for any reason, or for no reason at all, although should such occasion as the site's termination occur I will do my best to make announcement of that to members via my Patreon feed in advance.

Finally, the works contained within this site are of a fictional nature, and any names, characters, businesses, places, events, locales, and incidents are either the products of the author's imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.

  • Membership of the site is only open to supporters of my Patreon account - you must have a current subscription to access the protected content of the site.
     

  • You respect the rights of Jemma Hill as the Intellectual Property owner of all works contained within the site, and agree not to reproduce or distribute them in any form. 
     

  • Downloads of audio files are for your personal use only.
     

  • Cancelling your subscription to my Patreon account will automatically end your membership. If you want, you can choose to end your membership while maintaining your subscription to my Patreon by contacting me directly.
     

  • The terms of use for the Tales With Tott website may change at any time, but I will notify you of any major update via a newspost on Patreon.
     

  • Although I will do my best to maintain this website in its current state, I assert my right to alter or even remove it at any time should I prove unable to continue providing this service. Should I need to terminate the Tales With Tott website I will do my best to notify all members in advance via my Patreon newsfeed.
     

  • Finally, this site contains works of fiction. They are not depicting real people, places, or events. (Honestly, if magic were real, I'd be making a much bigger fuss about it, trust me.)
